Panacea makes the IPCS TAKT time centric because every step of the work cell’s task revolves around the TAKT time being set as malleable, empowering you to accommodate the time-diversity of tasks and the inherent skill-level variations to perform those tasks. You can balance the line and make production, each day, impervious to absenteeism and skill levels while digitizing tribal knowledge.

The malleability of Panacea is a result of several things but none as important as the segmentation of the TAKT time into 4 quadrants.
There is different operating segmentation for each employee skill level, but the time value at the end of the Grace Period is the TAKT time. In Panacea’s context, segmenting TAKT time into quadrants per work cell is a clever way to adapt to real-world variability while still aligning with the core principle.

So, in short, malleability means Panacea treats TAKT time not as a rigid stopwatch, but as a living rhythm that adjusts per cell, per condition, per day—while keeping overall production on time.
